Thom Yorke's Major Lazer Remix

Kevin Holmes July 26, 2010

We mentioned awhile back about Diplo’s new Major Lazer EP coming out, and the exciting news of who he’s been working with on it. One of the collaborations was with Thom Yorke of Radiohead, a man who probably doesn’t need much of an introduction. The EP, called Lazers Never Die was released last Tuesday 20 July, and you can stream the whole album on his MySpace page. You have plenty of summertime left to enjoy it while firing up a barbecue and sipping on a cold one, which is exactly the sort of environment you want to enjoy this in. Or why not just jump start your Monday with Thom Yorke’s remix of “Jump Up”. The Radiohead front man goes reggaeton, I wonder if we’ll see him daggering at their next gig?

And if you’re still wanting to hear more from Diplo, there’s also a mix called Chasing the Dragon he’s made for the Pomp&Clout Mix Series featuring funky soul tracks for some laidback summer listening. And, finally, if you’re in the US any time over the summer, then you won’t want to miss Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Parties, taking place across four different cities.
